Sunday afternoon

We met up with Danny & Heather and the girls for lunch at Kimballs.
A perfect fall day to eat outside. (It is starting to feel a bit more like fall.)

The kids had fun climbing in the trees, & I couldn't pass up an
oppurtunity for some fall snapshots.

(
After lunch we headed to check out the trebuchet in Greenfield, NH

(Click on the above link to watch a clipping of the Greenfield, NH trebuchet.)
This is it!
They hoist up 14,ooo pounds, & then it is released.
The weight drops sending an 8-10 lb. pumpkin flying! (1500-2000 feet.)
They disassemble this & bring it to competions. They are currently the champions.

We went for a ride on this old squeaky wagon pulled by these 2 oxen.
(Breanna went to stand next to them for this shot and the one next to her turnned to say hello - Yikes he's BIG!)
We walked out to the castle that they have set up out in the field as a target, but
the pumpkins go way beyond it. It's pretty neat!!!
